Downtown Chinatown, also called Hop Alley, was bounded by Seventh, Tenth, Walnut and Chestnut streets and was demolished in 1966 for Busch Memorial Stadium. The University City Wikipedia page says there is no officially designated Chinatown in the St. Louis area, and that Asian restaurants line Olive Boulevard between I-170 and Skinker Boulevard in University City. The restaurants in this guide are on Olive from 7930 (ZIP 63130) through 12784 (ZIP 63141), plus Zang Chi at 733 N New Ballas Rd in Creve Coeur.
