Lao Chengdu is the Sichuan kitchen in this guide, at 37-17 Prince Street. Its site says it reopened on November 22, 2024 after a renovation, and its ordering menu runs from Sichuan appetizers to boiled fish, grilled fish, dry pot, noodles and a separate lunch menu.
Build an order. Order Sichuan Boiled Fish ($35.00), Ma Po Tofu (Large) ($18.00) and Sichuan Hot & Spicy Dumpling ($10.00), then add Eggplant w. Coco Hotpot's site is built around coconut chicken, and its Chowbus menu lists hot pots for two or four people, Hainanese chicken over rice, claypot rice and flat-noodle soups. It is the hot pot pick on Prince Street, a different meal from the Sichuan kitchen at 37-17.
Build an order. Order Coconut Chicken (2 Person), add sides such as Handmade Battered Shrimp, Snowflake Beef and Firm Tofu, and expect a Self-Service Ingredients charge per person. Flushing Chinatown is the neighborhood itself, in Flushing, Queens, New York City. Wikipedia's Chinatowns in Queens article says it is in Main Street and the area to its west, particularly along Roosevelt Avenue, and calls the Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue intersection the heart of the neighborhood. It names Main Street between Roosevelt Avenue and Kissena Boulevard as the cultural heart. Manhattan's Chinatown is a separate Chinatown; the same article says the Queens one began as a satellite of it. Its ordering menu lists Sichuan Boiled Fish at $35.00, Ma Po Tofu (Large) at $18.00 and Chong Qing Grilled Fish at $48.00, and the operator site lists Mon-Sun 11:45 AM-10:00 PM. Szechuan Mountain House's own site lists 39-16 Prince St G03, Flushing, but its menu page showed no readable dishes or prices on 2026-10-01, so it is not in this shortlist. Che Li and Jiang Nan list some Sichuan-style dishes, such as Mapo Tofu, but are not Sichuan kitchens.
