The six kitchens in this guide sit on five streets, and none of the pages read for it names a Chinatown. Shangri-La on North Union Boulevard lists ma po tofu and Szechuan bean curd beside Hong Kong style chow fun, and China Village, at 203 N Union Blvd, has the only dim sum section, a short list of buns and shumai. The other four cook Chinese-American menus with their own sidelines: Peking duck at Jade Dragon, Vietnamese pho at East Dragon, sizzling scallop plates at Dragon King and hibachi dinners at Coal Mine Dragon. Denver's historic Chinatown, in what is now LoDo, is gone.
